Taking time,

I prepare the chicken,

cutting, seasoning, placing

sprigs of Rosemary,

aroma of onion

and tears.

 

Four hours,

kitchen filled

with the sweetness

(I’m still not done)

but satisfaction

is mine,

pouring broth,

stick of butter,

all cooking,

cook

simmer

taste.

 

Life,

is one season

at a time.
