Walking into the local store where the landscape has been sculptured to a nail clipper size.   It is clean and almost antiseptic.  The store is full of persons walking around bins of fresh vegetables, and sale signs propped up against the oranges.  But no one looks up.  No smiles selecting the squash or comments checking the onions.  Generational?   Moving out of the way, a shopper maneuvers her cart around me.
