economy

Where is my world going? As I watch the traditions disappear, honorable things turn to dishonor. It scares me.   The economy is collasping,  everything is being re-defined.   Racism has increased, not decreased.    Truth is suppressed. (Reference EPA suppressing the Global warming data.)  We’re become what we were never supposed to be.  Freedom has died in a vote – cheered and rallied.   As it was said in the Star Wars Movie.  Freedom has died among thunderous applause!

Snow is falling

crisscrossing, circling

flying pieces.
We cheer them

while they fall

and we’re glass contained,

ah, yes, the ingrediants are great-

cup of rest

dash of fun

a project,

But those out

have far different views

each flake

a frosting preventing

profit.

Flash,

a nightfall fierce winds beset us

rivers rose across states

bridges collaspe

people fall beneath mainstreet

washed away.

Snow obscures detail

to defeafness,

men debate jobs,

and victory in votes

means little.

Change?

food in their hands

would be change

warmth not weapons

would be change,

A Seine free,

a rio released,

million pregnant women

left to birth.

that would be change.

Let it go,

Two AM,

Let it go,

house changing

light

darkness

view changes.

a daily “bring to me”

yes,

I remember.

But wait,

direction means

hardness

hardness

is wrong

we must not

be wrong.

so not growing

not hard

a soft

snowy

wet

soggy

frameless.

Not seeing tone

color, slant,

Not seeing group

but ability,

freedom

as a core,

not a covering later

safety as belief

not add-on.

Rule values

small town,

effective

But not control

freedom-

there, I said it.

Not for sale.

Falling isn’t the problem,

it’s the sudden stop,

but I can’t help wonder

where is the bottom.

Falling,

more job lost

falling,

values,

values

hearts,

reach depths,

an abyss

we can’t see.

Who fault?

does it matter,

only fixing it.

An opinion

Seeing aural morning sky,
a start of the winter undulations,
approaching storm,

I’m setting back
counting days left
to shop
(So where’s the focus?)

leaving the stores
crowded with faces,
choosing specials,

God, let me out?
I’m spent doing this,
out of kilter with the flow,
the tensing people press-

retreat is my only option,
away from fantastic sales
and bargains,
back to
quiet.
